One of the core visions for Heartquake is that its content can provide inspiration and launch pads for students in schools in Australia and Nepal to engage with the earthquakes, their aftermath, their lessons and their impact from different perspectives.
These lesson plans have been prepared in line with the relevant curricula in Australia and Nepal to make it easy for teachers to use and adapt them for use in their classrooms. Of course they can also be adapted for use in other countries too as the themes are universal.
We would love to see some of the resulting work your students come up with and would be happy to include it on the Heartquake site if you share it with us. This site is intended to be interactive and alive – the more we all share our ideas and input, the more it will create a community across the world.
