On the anniversary of the earthquake which changed Nepal forever, we decided to return to the place where we were when the ground shook for 40 seconds at 11.57am on 25th April 2015 – Wilson Academy. We spent some time sharing memories, remembering family and friends who lost their lives, singing and being grateful for our survival.
That evening, we lit candles for the lives lost and joined with our local community to celebrate the same community spirit which thrived after the quakes.
It was an emotional day full of tears, love, gratitude and comfort.
