One month after the earthquake, we are at the hostel of Mitrataa. At this time I feel safe and lucky to be the part of Mitrataa Foundation because many people have lost their lives and some people are not able to get support and love which I am getting. Some people were scaring other people by saying that there would be another big earthquake like before, but I’m not scared more than before because at first I was at the hostel of Riviera school and scared of the earthquake but then I was brought to Mitrataa and feel like there is still Mitrataa Foundation to protect me. After the earthquake, one of my sisters (Sarika sister) and I went to Thankot to help other people by giving tents, two toklas of tea, sugar, rice and one cartoon of biscuits. We got this opportunity from Bec (the founder of Mitrataa foundation). I felt so happy and pleased to help other people. Bec used to tell us that helping other makes us feel relief and then I realized that it was true.

The schools are still closed because of the earthquake that took place on the 25th April. So, to make sure we don’t forget the lessons we were taught in school, Bec sent us to school to revise our lessons so that we could utilize our time. At school we gained more knowledge and ideas. We were entertained by our new teachers to make sure we are not still scared of the earthquake. Lastly, I want to thank Bec and other supporters of Mitrataa Foundation for helping us as well as others.
