9 months after a terrible earthquake struck in our country, I can still feel the shake of earthquake up to a month ago. On the day of Baishakh 29 (12th May), more numbers of innocent people were killed and all the houses, temples were also destroyed in this certain period of time. From that day we people started to stay away from home, to safe place or ground. People started lose their hope and belief.
A number of people started to become helpless and poverty. On that day I was out of the valley searching for my family. On the way I found people running, making terrible noise, lots of people dead bodies, pollution etc. I was totally shocked and shaken by 7.5 Richter earthquake in our country. Even the government of our country was helpless and hopeless.
On the month of September, a new constitution was published which were very important days for Nepalese people because with such constitution, the new modern Nepal (having peace, happiness, development) will be born. All the people started to celebrate and build the old heritage temples and festivals with a great joy and happiness. On that day, we (Mitrataa family) had also burnt a candle, sang a national song. From that day we forgot all the fear and continued our livelihood. And again a great hardship arises in our country that the INDIA blocked the border on the next day of new constitution. We again started face a problem of food, fuel, gas shortage in our country. In Terai region, due to conflict between the people of Terai and India, more than 50 people died due to it. Lots of crime started in our country. We got one month holiday to celebrate a great festival (Dashain and Tihar) from college and Mitrataa Foundation. And I have gone to my home, Jhapa. On the way, I found people making a long way on the road for fuel, gas and water. And I also found people helping those who are helpless and needy. After having or facing many problems before this month I have learned to be independent and strong.
