I was deeply asleep, building a castle in my dreams. I was on the ground floor of my nearly built castle enjoying the scenes above. Suddenly, the ground around me started shaking. My castle looked like a giant pendulum watch moving side by side. I heard the prayers of people before my life worth castle fell down.

I woke up in fear and had just praised the lord -” thank god, it was just a horrible dream”. My bed started to shake. For a second I thought that I was hyped by the dream I had just had. But no, it was another aftershock resulted from the biggest earthquake that hit Nepal 9 months ago. This is how we’re still fighting with earthquake.

It’s been nine months since the biggest earthquake of 7.9 on the Richter scale. Lingering on same problem wasn’t a solution. So everyone moved on to normal life right after the 3rd month of the quake. Now everything looks fine. Normal activities are going on. People have built shelter too.

But the scars that the quake gave cannot be healed easily. It’s hard for the victims to live normal life. Half of the population is fighting this cold winter under the ice-cold tin cottage. Many people died this year due to cold. Also the blockade added another pain to the Nepalese. The crisis of fuel and petroleum made life more difficult inside the city.

Moreover, the increasing rumours about another big earthquake is freaking everyone one out. Plus still there are many aftershocks going on. So no one is fully confident that there won’t be another big earthquake.
